Assistive Devices Program
The Assistive Devices Program (ADP) is a Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s (Ontario) initiative that offers assistance with funding for mobility aids. If a person requires a mobility device (most often a wheelchair or walker) on a regular basis to move about independently wherever they live, they qualify for financial assistance up to 75% of the retail cost. Geriatrics and Falls Prevention
Research studies repeatedly support the idea that appropriate physical activity in seniors can improve a number of systems; Balance, strength, cardiovascular fitness and cognitive function to name a few. Motor Vehicle Accidents
We provide appropriate and compassionate care to adults that have often suffered multiple, catastrophic injuries due to a motor vehicle accident who cannot easily attend out patient therapy for their physiotherapy.
